****To clear it up, since someone asked me about it. The ITBS are not straight in the picture for a reason, they are not fully bolted on those are not couplers holding them on they are radiator hoses... lol just sitting them on there for a mock up picture. With silicone couplers mounted correctly they sit perfectly straight*******
Individual throttle body setup for a Honda D15 or D16 series engine
44mm throttle bodies
1.75" SS velocity stacks mounted on the throttle bodies that taper from 65mm-44mm.
Cleaned and balanced 12 hole 270cc injectors, work done by john @ RC eng. Paperwork for the injectors will be included.
To be a bolt on induction system the manifold needs to be portmatched, and (4) 2" silicone couplers to attach the ITB's to the manifold.
My research that i did for the setup:
-Optimum distances for a engine with a rpm limit of 7-9k rpm:
-Butterfly to valve distance is 200mm or 7.874"
-Face of trumpet to center of valve distance is 350mm or 13.7795"
-Fuel injector posistion will be in the stock CBR location for adequate mixing time at higher Rpm's
-Idle should be ~ -10in/Hg cruise -3 to -1in/hg WOT or anything above 25%-40% throttle or 0 in/hg
I put alot of research into designing/ building these ITB's for my setup. But now with my cam selection im forced to switch to carbs. My loss your gain
